
Philip Keevil
Chairman
Philip Keevil received BA and MA degrees in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford University, and an MBA degree from Harvard University with High Distinction as a Baker Scholar. He is a senior partner at Compass Advisers. Prior to joining Compass in December 2005, he was a managing director of Citigroup Global Markets, serving as chairman of Citigroup's European Equity and Fixed Income Commitment Committees. He joined Citigroup’s Salomon Brothers in 1995, initially as a managing director and head of International Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), and ultimately served as the head of European M&A, a position he held through the merger to form Citigroup and the combination with Schroders. Prior to Salomon he was responsible for S.G. Warburg's corporate finance and equity capital markets businesses in North America.

Nigel Turnbull
Non-Executive Director
Nigel Turnbull graduated as a scientist from St Andrews University and was then articled as an accountant in the City of London. He joined The Rank Group as finance director in 1987, retiring in 1999. He was chairman of the working party responsible for providing guidance to directors on internal control which created the Turnbull Report. In addition to his position with Risk Advisory, he is on the council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and is chairman or non-executive director of a number of companies.

Chris Batterham
Non-Executive Director
Chris Batterham graduated from Cambridge University in 1976 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979. He worked for a variety of businesses before joining Unipalm Group plc (now UUNET) as group finance director in 1993, where he was involved in its flotation on the London Stock Exchange. He is non-executive director of a number of companies including SDL plc and The Sporting Exchange Ltd (Betfair).

Bill Waite
Group Chief Executive Officer
Bill Waite obtained his first law degree in 1982 and in 1995 he gained an LLM in corporate and commercial law from University College London. He was called to the Bar in 1984, where he practised common law, specialising in criminal defence work. In 1991 he was invited to join the Serious Fraud Office as a case controller. He was a founding director of Risk Advisoryand was made CEO in 2002. He specialises in assisting clients in managing critical issues.

Richard Prior
Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer
Richard Prior is a graduate in Russian language and literature from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University of London. Following a career in the downstream of the international oil industry, he joined the investigative industry in 1992, focusing on business intelligence in the energy industry with a particular emphasis on the former Soviet Union and the Middle East. In 1994 he relocated to the Russian Federation where he led the establishment of a business intelligence consultancy. In 1997, as a founder member of The Risk Advisory Group, he participated in the establishment of its Russian office before returning to London in 1999. He has specialised in advising companies operating or acquiring businesses in emerging markets. Furthermore, he has managed numerous assignments encompassing pre-acquisition due diligence and providing strategic advice in the context of acquisitions and major investments.

Toby Cotton
Finance Director
Toby Cotton joined Risk Advisory in 2003. He has a degree in history and politics, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. After graduating he joined the British Railway Board as a management trainee and qualified as an accountant. Following a period working for Scottish & Newcastle Breweries, he became finance director to a number of law firms. He successfully negotiated and managed two separate mergers and has extensive experience of managing and developing professional service firms.

Dr. David Claridge
Managing Director, Janusian Security Risk Management
David Claridge is a recognised specialist in the assessment of terrorist threats. He has worked in the security consultancy industry since 1998, assisting predominantly commercial clients to identify, quantify and manage the risk to their operations from terrorism and other forms of asymmetric warfare. He was involved in establishing the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence at the University of St Andrews, and was operational director of the Centre prior to entering the private sector. He received his PhD in international relations from the University of St Andrews.
